Grant tehsil status for Waterhail: Hakeem Yaseen

Srinagar, Sep 19: Chairman Peoples Democratic Front ( PDF) and party candidate for Khansahib assembly constituency , Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen has demanded tehsil status for Waterhail.

According to a press note, he asked the people to strengthen PDF for socio - economic and political transformation of Khansahib constituency.

Yaseen also appealed to the people to reject dynasty political parties who have always betrayed the trust and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir for the sake of power since 1953 .

Addressing a poll rally in Waterhail Hakeem Yaseen urged the people to reject dynasty political parties and vote for a change to ensure peace, development and socio- political empowerment of Jammu and Kashmir . He said Waterhail area of Khansahib constituency has been totally neglected by the previous regimes. He added that even former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, when he was MLA of the area in 2014 , made only hollow promises to the people of Waterhail.
