Grand Mufti Nasir-Ul-Islam expresses "extreme pain" over loss of lives in Nowgam blast
Srinagar, Nov 15: Mufti Azam Jammu and Kashmir, Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam, has expressed “deep sorrow” over the loss of lives in the Nowgam Police Station blast in the intervening night of Friday and Saturday, which killed nine persons and injured as many as thirty-two others.
The Grand Mufti prayed for the swift recovery of the injured and extended condolences to the bereaved families who lost their loved ones in the blast.
He appealed to the people to remain calm, maintain unity, and support one another with patience and compassion during this difficult time. "Our collective resolve must be to uphold peace, dignity, and mutual respect within society." the Grand Mufti said.
MPL Board also voiced their anguish over this incident extending sympathies to the family who lost their family members.
In a statement, Grand Mufti Nasir-Ul-Islam stated, "express extreme pain over the loss of lives in Nowgam blast. Praying for injured to recover soon and extending condolences to the beavered families who lost their loved ones in this blast. MPL Board also voiced their anguish over this incident extending sympathies to the family who lost their members. I also appeal to the people to remain calm, maintain unity, and support one another with patience and compassion during this difficult time. Our collective resolve must be to uphold peace, dignity, and mutual respect within society."
