Govt Unani Hospital organises seminar

Srinagar, Feb 16: A function was held at Government. Unani Hospital Shalteng to mark World Unani Day.

The day coincided with the birth anniversary of Hakeem Ajmal Khan Sahib. The event was attended by Director Ayush, Dr Nuzhat Bashir Shah, as the chief guest, while Dr. Shuja Hussan attended as the guest of honor. Medical Superintendent Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Parray, serving as the chief organiser, led the event in his capacity as the head of the institution.

A seminar was also organised as part of the celebrations, where Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Parray highlighted the role of Ayush interventions in managing non-communicable diseases (NCDs). Additionally, Dr Shuja Allaqband delivered a speech on the event's theme, further enriching the discourse.

The function concluded with a note of thanks, expressing gratitude to the doctors, paramedical staff, and supportive personnel of Government Unani Hospital Shalteng. Students from Government Unani College Ganderbal were also present, making the event a momentous occasion for the Unani medical community.
