Govt to introduce new award scheme in culture: Chief Secretary

Jammu, Mar 23: Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo on Sunday announced that the government will soon introduce an award scheme in the field of culture to encourage and recognise the lifelong contributions of versatile artists, writers, and performers from the region.

He made this announcement while addressing the valedictory function of the camp and exhibition on Modern and Contemporary Art at Kala Kendra, Jammu.

The event was organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages, Kala Kendra Society, and Amar Mahal Museum and Library, Jammu.
