Govt sanctions four-days special casual leave for Jammu based migrant employees on Mahashivratri

Srinagar, Feb 24: The government on Monday sanctioned four-day special casual leave for Jammu based Migrant and Prime Minister’s Package employees on Mahashivratri.

As per Government Order No. 282-JK (GAD), dated February 24. 2025, The Jammu and Kashmir administration has sanctioned a four-day special casual leave for Jammu-based migrant employees and Prime Minister’s Package employees working in the Kashmir Valley, allowing them to celebrate Mahashivratri with their families in Jammu.

This special leave as per the government order will be applicable on February 25 (Tuesday), 27 (Thursday), 28 (Friday), and March 1 (Saturday). The decision has been taken to ease the load from those employees who wish to travel to Jammu for the festival and spend time with their kins.
