Govt orders transfers, postings of police officers

Srinagar, Aug 28: Government of Jammu & Kashmir Wednesday ordered transfers and postings of police officer with immediate effect.

The order which was issued by Home Department J&K, has said the decision has been taken in the interest of administration.

“Ifroz Ahmad, SP Operations, Kishtwar, is transferred and posted as Dy. CO IR-5, vice Nisar Ahmad. While as Nisar Ahmad, Dy. CO IR-5, is transferred and posted as SP Operations, Kishtwar, vice Ifroz Ahmad,” an order reads a copy of which lies with Greater Kashmir.
