Govt orders repatriation of employees to Legislative Assembly
Srinagar, Oct 3: The Jammu and Kashmir government Thursday ordered immediate repatriation of all employees of the J&K Legislative Assembly deployed across various departments and offices.
As per the order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), all the employees previously deployed by the GAD have been asked to report back to the office of the Secretary, J&K Legislative Assembly, in Jammu or Srinagar, without delay.
Notably, the GAD order has been issued in reference to the order issued by J&K's Chief Electoral Officer on September 19 wherein it was emphasised that all the employees should return to their parent organisation.
As per the order, the Secretary J&K Legislative Assembly has been asked to furnish the report in case of any non-compliance by employees, to the GAD within a week's time.
“All affected officials will be considered to be relieved from their current positions and are expected to comply with the repatriation order promptly,” the GAD order reads.
