Govt issues guidelines for B2V5; deploys officers

Jammu, Nov 6: The government Monday ordered that the Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj will be the nodal department and overall coordinator of the “Fifth phase of Back to Village Programme” (B2V5) commencing with effect from November 7 to November 16, 2023.
Issuing a set of instructions, the General Administration Department directed that the Planning, Development and Monitoring Department and Information Technology Department would assist the Nodal Department.
In this connection, the GAD, through a separate order, also issued a detailed list of officers, including the administrative secretaries, along with the districts assigned to them.
“The exact location of Panchayat where the officer will conduct the programme shall be communicated by the Deputy Commissioner concerned, who shall allot Panchayat(s) in a manner which ensures continuity of visiting/Prabhari Officers deployed in B2V4 as far as possible,” the order mentioned.
