Hajj-2024 | 22 J&K employees deputed to Saudi Arabia as Khadim-ul-Hujaj

Jammu, May 12: The J&K government deputed its 22 officers and officials to the Consulate General of India, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia as Khadim-ul-Hujaj for Hajj-2024.

Sanction to their temporary deputation has been accorded through two separate orders.

“Consequent upon their selection by the Haj Committee of Jammu and Kashmir, sanction is hereby accorded to the temporary deputation of these officers and officials of Jammu and Kashmir Government, to the Consulate General of India, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, for rendering assistance as Khadim-Ul-Hujaj for Haj-2024,” read orders issued by GAD.

As per orders, these officers and officials included Dr Shujjat Ahmad Qureshi, Executive Officer J&K Haj Committee; Irshad Ahmad, Haj Officer J&K Haj Committee; Zia Ul Rasool, LSG PA Postal Service; Mushtaq Ahmad Wani, Head Assistant General Administration Department; Firdose Hussain Mir, Head Constable J&K Police; Muzaffar Hussain Shah, Teacher Education Department; Faiyaz Ahmad, Medical Officer Health & Medical Education Department; Peerzada Shams Din, Teacher Education Department; Shameem Ahmad Mir, Anaesthesia Technician Health Department (SKIMS); Shabir Ahmad Mir, Teacher Education Department; Akhter Rasool Lala, Senior Stenographer Health Department (GMC) and Haamid Bashir, Laboratory Tech Health Department (GMC).

Mohammed Irfan Akhoon, In-charge Assistant Accounts Officer Finance department; Umar Nabi Bhat, Lower Division Clerk Central University of Kashmir; Javid Iqbal, Lab Tech BGSB University; Rayees Hussain Sheikh, Senior Stenographer General Administration Department and Syed Ishfaq Shah, Assistant Professor University of Kashmir too have been deputed as Khadim-Ul-Hujaj.

Other officers and officials deputed as Khadim-Ul-Hujaj included Nowshad Anjum Mir, Block Development Officer Rural Development Department; Mohammad Ashraf Shah, Teacher Education Department; Amjad Hussain Keen, Under Secretary to the Government, (Forest Department) General Administration Department; Mehmood Ahmed, Teacher Education Department and Syed Atif Mehboob, Junior Engineer Public Works (R&B) Department.

The Administrative Secretaries and Heads of the Departments have been ordered to relieve these officers and officials immediately, enabling them to report to the office of the Executive Officer, J&K Haj Committee, Hajj House Bemina, Srinagar, subject to the fulfillment of requisite formalities as prescribed for foreign deputation.
