Govt appoints Minu Mahajan as Chairperson JKBOPEE
Srinagar, Mar 15: The J&K government Friday appointed Minu Mahajan, a retired principal, as Chairperson Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE).
As per the government order, the appointment has been approved by Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha in the exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 read with Section 6 of the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination Act, 2002.
“The LG is pleased to appoint Mahajan, a retired principal, as Chairperson, Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination,” the order reads. As per the order, Mahajan would hold the position of the Chairperson, JKBOPEE, for 2 years or until she attains the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.
