Srinagar, Dec 7: Former Union Minister Prof Saifuddin Soz has written to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah stating that J&K government had not implemented its own order passed in 2017 regarding the declaration of the residential house of Late Maulana Anwar Shah Sahib at Lolab Kashmir as a heritage site.

In a statement, Soz said that unfortunately, the Directorate of school Education Kashmir has also not done its part as envisaged in the government order. “ I feel very sad that the people of Kashmir do not care for their precious legacy. The J&K Government had felt it necessary to care for the premises at Lolab (Kashmir) that had to be protected as a heritage site,” he said.
