GOC White Knight Corps visits KG, Nowshera sectors
Rajouri, Oct 22: While reviewing operational readiness of army troops and assessing the security dynamics along the Line of Control (LoC), General Officer Commanding White Knight Corps Lieutenant General P K Mishra exhorted upon all ranks to maintain peak operational efficiency and a resolute offensive orientation in safeguarding the nation's frontier.
Lt Gen PK Mishra, GOC White Knight Corps, along with Maj Gen Kaushik Mukherji, GOC Ace of Spades Division, visited forward posts in the Krishna Ghati and Nowshera sectors of LoC in Poonch and Rajouri districts respectively.
The visit, Indian army said, was aimed to review the operational preparedness and assess the security dynamics along the LoC.
The GOC interacted with troops, appreciating their professionalism, composure and steadfast commitment under challenging conditions, the army further stated.
“He exhorted all ranks to maintain peak operational efficiency and a resolute offensive orientation in safeguarding the Nation’s frontiers,” said the army.
Earlier on October 19, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) Northern Command, Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma had visited various establishments in Rajouri and Poonch.
Lt Gen Sharma was accompanied by General Officer Commanding White Knight Corps Lt Gen PK Mishra.
Lt Gen Pratik Sharma had interacted with troops deployed along the Line of Control and in the hinterland.
While reviewing the operational preparedness, he had commended all ranks for their steadfast commitment, high morale, exceptional professionalism and unwavering dedication.
