GOC White Knight Corps reviews security situation in Rajouri, Poonch areas
Rajouri, Aug 09: Amid present security situation and high alert for both Line of Control (LoC) and hinterland, General Officer in Commanding (GOC) White Knight Corps, Lt Gen Naveen Sachdeva, visited areas of Rajouri and Poonch districts.
The visit was aimed at reviewing of current security situation. Army said that GOC White Knight Corps visited both Line of Control (LoC) and hinterland of Rajouri, Poonch areas.
He was accompanied by General Officer in Commanding (GoC), Ace of Spades Division, that looks after Line of Control and General Officer in Commanding (GoC) Counter Insurgency Force (Rome) that looks after hinterland security in the area.
GOC White Knight Corps, Lt Gen Naveen Sachdeva during the visit reviewed the security situation and also met with field commanders and officers.
In his interaction, the GoC emphasised on importance of Indian Armys' operations to ensure peace and stability.
"GOC White Knight Corps along emphasised to work in close coordination and synergy with other security agencies in the region," army said.
