GOC reviews operational preparedness in Akhnoor sector

Rajouri, Oct 15: To review operational preparedness of field forces, General Officer Commanding (GOC), White Knight Corps, Lt Gen Naveen Sachdeva today visited forward areas in Akhnoor sector of Jammu.

Akhnoor sector is start point of Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu province as LoC stretches from Jammu's Akhnoor sub division to Poonch's Saujiyan while remaining area of Jammu province is International Border (IB).

The GOC complimented all ranks for carrying out rigorous and focused training, said army.

The field officers especially the Commanding Officers (COs) briefed GOC White Knight Corps about prevailing security situation on LoC and operational preparedness of troops.
