GOC-in-C Northern Command visits DKG in Rajouri
Rajouri Nov 5: General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) Northern Command, Lieutenant General M V Suchindra Kumar, today visited Dehra Ki Gali (DKG) in Rajouri.
During the visit he asked all the ranks of Army's Rashtriya Rifles (RR) units to uphold highest standards of operational readiness besides commended their exemplary professionalism. He interacted with RR troops at DKG camp.
The GOC-in-C was accompanied by General Officer in Commanding (GOC) White Knight Corps Lt Gen Naveen Sachdeva and General Officer in Commanding (GOC) Counter Insurgency Force (Romeo) Maj Gen Munish Gupta.
The basic aim of this visit was to review the operational preparedness of forces in Rajouri sector where a number of anti terror operations are going on to track and neutralise the terrorists believed to be present and operating in the areas.
Army said that during this visit to review operational preparedness, the Army Commander commended the troops for their exemplary professionalism.
"He exhorted all ranks to uphold the highest standards of operational readiness," Army further said.
