GOC-in-C Northern Command reviews operational situation in Rajouri

Rajouri, Aug 2: General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) Northern Command Lt Gen M V Suchindra Kumar today reviewed the operational situation in Rajouri.

He visited the Ace of Spades Division in Rajouri. GOC-in-C exhorted the troops to maintain high state of professionalism. He commended the operational readiness of the formation.

Ace of Spades Division looks after the security and guard of Line of Control (Loc) in twin districts Rajouri and Poonch. The Army Commander reviewed the operational situation in sector.

Lt Gen MV Suchindra Kumar was accompanied by General Officer in Commanding White Knight Corps, Lt Gen Naveen Sachdeva.

On arrival, Army Commander chaired a meeting at Division headquarter in which General Officer in Commanding (GoC) of Ace of Spades Division, General Officer in Commanding (GoC) Romeo Force, District Magistrate Rajouri Om Parkash Bhagat, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rajouri Randeep Kumar, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Poonch Yougal Manhas were also present.

Alongside, Vice Chancellor of BGSB University Rajouri, Prof Akbar Masood, Incharge Medical Superintendent of GMC Associated Hospital Rajouri, Dr Javed Iqbal, Rotarian K K Langer, Moulana Mohammad Farooq Niami were also present in this interaction.

Presently, security situation on Line of Control (LoC) as well as hinterland is already on high alert in view a number of terror related incidents.
