GOC 16 Corps reviews security, preparedness in Poonch LoC

Rajouri, Dec 17: General Officer Commanding (GOC) White Knight Corps Lt Gen Naveen Sachdeva today reviewed security and operational preparedness on Line of Control (Loc) in Poonch district.

He visited Tristar and Anita areas on LoC. Both these are forward locations of LoC in Poonch and are in snow bound upper reaches.

The GOC was accompanied by GOC Ace of Spades Division Maj Gen Kaushik Mukherjee during his visit, army said. Lt Gen Naveen Sachdeva commended the troops for their commitment and dedication to duty and emphasised on maintaining the highest standards of professionalism in the conduct of operations.
