GOC 16 Corps reviews security in Doda, Kishtwar
Jammu, Aug 31: General Officer Commanding (GOC) White Knight (16) Corps Lt Gen Navin Sachdeva along with General Officer Commanding (GOC) Counter Insurgency Force (CIF) Delta Saturday conducted a security review of the operational preparedness in the Suigarh and Patnazi sectors of Doda and Kishtwar.
During the visit, GOC 16 Corps complimented the troops for their steadfastness and the professional conduct demonstrated during operations, the White Knight Corps posted on ‘X.’
GOC also assessed the Kailash Kund Yatra. “Security Forces are maintaining heightened vigil and aerial platforms are being utilised to provide over-watch,” the White Knight Corps posted.
Later in the day, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) Counter Insurgency Force (Romeo) along with Jammu Kashmir Police jointly reviewed security at Rajouri.
“GOC, CIF (Romeo) organised a joint security review meeting to enhance the interoperability and synergised efforts in furthering the effectiveness of operations during forthcoming elections," the White Knight Corps posted.
