GOC 15 Corps visits south Kashmir
Srinagar, Nov 18: A day after five terrorists were killed in an 18 hour long encounter in Kulgam district, General Officer Commanding (GoC) 15 Corps, Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai visited 34 Rashtriya Rifles battalion who carried out the operation.
The GOC 15 Corps during the south Kashmir visit said that Chinar Corps stands by its commitment to keep Kashmir terror free.

They also posted pictures of Lt Gen Ghai meeting the 34 RR troops and officers.
GOC Victor Force, Major General Balbir Singh, Deputy Inspector General of Police, South Kashmir Range (SKR), Rayees Muhammad Bhat, and SSP Kulgam were also present on the occasion.
J&K Police, 9 Para, 34 RR, and CRPF killed five Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists in Kulgam district on Friday in one of the fiercest gunfights this year in J&K.
Police said among them some were involved in attacks on Pandits and migrant labourers earlier this year.
All five – identified as Sameer Ahmad Sheikh, Danish Hameed Thokar, Ubaid Padder, and Hanzla Shah from Shopian, and Yasir Bhat from Kulgam – are locals, Police had said.
