GOC 15 Corps visits forward posts in Keran sector

Srinagar July 16: General Officer Commanding (GOC) 15 Corps, Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai paid a visit to the forward posts along the Line of Control (LoC) in Keran sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday.

The visit was aimed at reviewing the current security situation and assessing the operational preparedness of the troops stationed in this strategic region.

During his visit, Lt Gen Ghai interacted with the soldiers, commending their dedication and resilience in maintaining a high state of vigilance.

He urged the troops to remain steadfast and alert, emphasising the critical importance of thwarting any inimical attempts or activities across the LoC.

“The security of our nation hinges on your unwavering vigilance and commitment,” he said. “Ensure that every attempt to disrupt peace and stability is met with a swift and decisive response.”

The Chinar Corps Commander also reviewed the infrastructural and logistical support available to the troops, ensuring that they are well-equipped to handle any challenges.

He highlighted the need for continuous improvement in operational capabilities to counter evolving threats effectively.
