Glad that Er Rasheed taking oath: Soz

Srinagar, July 7: Former Union Minister Prof Saifuddin Soz today said that  he feels very glad to know that finally, Er Rasheed has been allowed to take his oath as Member of Parliament, tomorrow.

“I consider it to be an important event in the recent political history of Jammu and Kashmir that a person who represented the anger of the people of J&K, especially the anger of people of Kashmir, has finally made it to the Parliament of India,” he said.

Soz wished and prayed  that things remain normal and Er Rasheed succeeds in expressing his ideas as a representative of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, especially the people of Baramulla Parliamentary Constituency.

“I also wish and pray that Engineer Rasheed realizes, in full measure, that his utterances in the Parliament of India have a great significance, for his political career also. I hope Engineer Rasheed also appreciates that now he has a very important platform available to focus and express his ideas for his larger constituency, i.e. the people of Kashmir,”he said.
