GK staffer bereaved

Srinagar, Jan 14: Haji Abdul Raheem Sheikh of Umerabad, Khunbal Handwara passed away after a brief spell of illness on Saturday.

He was the father of Tarique Raheem, Greater Kashmir’s Kupwara reporter. Meanwhile, staffers of Greater Kashmir held a condolence meeting and prayed for peace to the departed soul. They also expressed sympathies with the bereaved family members especially Tarique Raheem and his two brothers, Dr Khursheed Anwar Nadvi and Gulbaz Ahmad Sheikh to bear the loss.

A delegation of The Young Journalist Association Kupwara led by its president Ulfat Hussain Malik visited Tarique’s house and condoled his father’s demise.
