GK Health Editor appointed president of GOSI North India Chapter
Srinagar, Oct 13: Zubair Saleem, a renowned specialist in Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology and Greater Kashmir Health Editor has been appointed president of the Geriatric Orthopaedic Society of India (GOSI) for its North India Chapter.
His tenure would last for three years.
In this role, Dr Saleem will focus on conducting Continuing Medical Education (CME) programmes, outreach, advocacy, and organising social activities that benefit senior citizens in Jammu and Kashmir.
With an impressive record of treating over 35,000 elderly patients, Dr Saleem is recognised for pioneering geriatric care in Kashmir, including home-based and telehealth services.
Through the Moul Mouj Foundation, he continues to provide free medical care to marginalised and neglected seniors in the region.
