Banihal, Nov 30: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his radio programme Mann Ki Baat, highlighted the Geographical Indication (GI) tag granted to Sulai Honey of Ramban district and Bhaderwah Rajma of Jammu and Kashmir. He termed it a major achievement for the region that has brought these traditional products national and international recognition.

The GI tag has significantly increased their brand value and opened up new export opportunities. Experts believe that this recognition will not only protect the authenticity of these products but also help boost the local economy.
