Srinagar, Mar 2: Former Cabinet Minister and Apni Party Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir has expressed grief and concern over the devastating fire incident in the Waripora area of Kunzer, where several residential houses were engulfed in flames, resulting in heavy losses for the affected families.

In his statement, Mir said that the incident has caused immense distress to the victims, leaving several families homeless and in urgent need of assistance. He urged the district administration to immediately visit Waripora, Kunzer, assess the extent of the damage, and ensure prompt relief and rehabilitation measures for the affected households.

He emphasized that urgent steps must be taken to provide temporary shelter, food supplies, clothing, and financial assistance to the victims without any delay. “In this hour of crisis, the administration must stand firmly with the affected families and ensure that no victim is left unattended,” Mir stated.
