Gearing up for Lok Sabha polls: JKPCC
Jammu, Jan 1: J&K PCC Chief Vikar Rasool Wani today said that his party is gearing up for coming Lok Sabha election.
According to a press release, he was addressing a party meeting here. Wani announced that the newly appointed AICC Incharge for J&K Affairs Bharatsinh Solanki, former Union Minister will address a party convention in Jammu on January 5.
The convention is to further gear up for upcoming Lok Sabha polls and to press for early assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir, JKPCC Chief said.
He added that Solanki alongwith newly appointed General Secretary AICC G A Mir will arriving here on January 5 and address the convention of prominent workers of Jammu. He asked party leaders to mobilise prominent workers of adjoining districts and block functionaries to attend the convention.
Wani stated that the party has to gear up for the upcoming election to the Lok Sabha and demand early elections to the state assembly as per Supreme Court directions.
