GDC Marheen launches its maiden newsletter

Kathua, Aug 11: IQAC GDC Marheen organised a function the other day to release the college maiden issue of the newsletter named “Marheeen Bytes”. The programme started with the lighting of lamps and recitation of Saraswati Vandana.

The formal welcome address was presented by the Worthy Principal of the college Prof (Dr.) Anupama Gupta. She appreciated the hard work done by all the staff members in compiling this newsletter and also cherished and valued the contribution of students as this would not be possible without their participation in different activities organized by the college.

The occasion was graced by Principal (Retd.), Higher Education Department Mohan Singh Pathania, as Chief Guest. The chief guest while speaking on the occasion highly appreciated the contribution made by all the faculty members in making this newsletter. He congratulated the Principal for this kind of achievement.

Editor of Newsletter, Prof. Sandeep Chaudhary, in his address highlighted the key points that have been covered in the newsletter and gave a brief introduction about the newsletter, Marheen Bytes under the supreme guidance of the esteemed principal of the college.

Prof. Anoop Sharma and Dr. Munisha Devi conducted the proceedings of the whole programme. The faculty members presented in the programme were Dr. Balbinder Singh, Dr. Shallu Rani and Prof. Manu Saini. All the students of the college presented in the programme actively.

The formal vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Arun Dev Singh, Convener, Newsletter Committee.
