GDC Kulgam observes International Youth Day

Srinagar, Aug 12: The NSS and Red Ribbon Club of Government Degree College (GDC) Kulgam jointly celebrated International Youth Day, focusing on the theme of youth empowerment and the Nasha Mukt Bharat campaign.

The event was marked by insightful discussions and motivational speeches, highlighting the critical role of youth in shaping society.

Prof. Mohd Amin, Convener of the Red Ribbon Club, shed light on the significance of International Youth Day, emphasizing the vital role youth play in societal development.

Dr Rayees Ahmad Rather, NSS Program Officer and Nodal Officer for NCORD, encouraged the youth to recognize their potential and take advantage of the opportunities available to them. He stressed the importance of youth involvement in the fight against drug abuse, urging them to stand firm against this menace for the betterment of society.
