GDC Ganderbal organises programme on Intellectual Property Rights
Srinagar, Apr 28: The Institution Innovation Cell of Government Degree College Ganderbal on Monday organised a lecture on Intellectual Property Rights to commemorate the World Intellectual Property Rights Day.
Prof Sameera Siraj, Convenor IIC briefed the audience about the importance of the day. Prof Fouzia Fatima, Principal of the college, Ganderbal, formally welcomed the guests.
Sabeel Kawoosa, Public Prosecuting Officer, was the resource Person of the session. She spoke about the importance of Intellectual Property Rights and why it is important to protect one's innovation. Further, she discussed various types of intellectual properties and their legal aspects.
Dr. Tahira Naqvi presented the formal vote of thanks. Dr. Uzma Ashraf and Dr. Mansha Nisar acted as Rapporteurs for the session. Farhana and Mehak, students of the 6th and 4th semesters, conducted the proceedings of the session.
