GCC felicitates teachers on Teachers’ Day

Srinagar, Sep 06: The Group of Concerned Citizens ( GCC) has felicitated all teachers in Jammu and Kashmir on the Teachers’ Day and hailed their contribution to  society, even in most difficult of times.

In its message the GCC called upon the teachers to work with greater vigour, help students to brace up for new and emerging challenges in global educational scenario, with added emphasis on character building.

“There is a need to make education a means for creating scientific temper in the society, leaving no one behind and in creating skills and expertise for the 21st century,” GCC said.

The GCC appealed to the Government to give highest priority to education sector to build generations of nation builders and excellent human beings.
