GCC appeals for swift relief to Warwan fire victims as winter looms

Srinagar, Oct 16: The Group of Concerned Citizens (GCC) of Jammu and Kashmir Wednesday appealed to the Chief Secretary to direct the district administration of Kishtwar and Divisional Commissioner Jammu to dispatch relief material and cash relief to the fire victims of village Mulwarwan of Warwan Valley in Kishtwar.

A statement of GCC issued here said that it appeals for immediate relief as there is a forecast of wet weather towards the last week of October which might result in the closure of Margan Top road, the only lifeline for Warwan and Marwah areas of Kishtwar district.
