Ganderbal admin issues advisory amid inclement weather

Srinagar, Aug 30:  Amid inclement weather, the district administration Ganderbal on Friday issued an advisory for people of the district, especially for those living in Kangan sub-division, Lar, Watlar, Waliwar, Chountwaliwar, Chanthangulabpora and those in the higher reaches of the district to remain cautious and refrain from going out.

An official handout from the administration said that amid inclement weather and rain/thunder forecast, people from these areas should not venture in slopes, hilly areas, or flood/ landslide prone areas until the weather improves.

The handout also directed different departments including, police, SDRF, Tehsildars, I&FC, R&B, PHE, KPDCL, PMGSY, Mechanical Engineering, MC Ganderbal, and Beacon to stay in coordination during the period.
