Galaxy FC hold Star Kashmir in 3-3 thriller, injury mars day’s play
Srinagar, May 5: The ongoing ‘MY YOUTH MY PRIDE’ Srinagar Premier Football League 2024 produced another day of gripping football at the TRC Synthetic Turf Ground, featuring two high-energy clashes that thrilled the spectators.
In the first match, as per a statement, Galaxy FC and Star Kashmir FC battled to an entertaining 3-3 draw, showcasing attacking prowess and determination.
The second encounter saw AG's Office XI deliver a commanding 3-1 win over Kashmir Awrrows FC, asserting their control with sharp finishing and disciplined play.
However, the first match was marred by an unfortunate injury to Sameer Sultan, a key player of Galaxy FC, who suffered a broken elbow and joint injury during the game. In a positive development, the District Football Association (DFA) Srinagar promptly announced that Sameer would receive complete medical treatment and rehabilitation support under their care.
