Gaddi Nashin of Ajmer Sharif addresses COP28
New Delhi, Dec 4: Spiritual leader Haji Syed Salman Chishty-Gaddi Nashin of Ajmer Sharif and Chairman of Chishty Foundation delivered a speech at COP28 - Faith Pavilion on the potential of spiritual leaders to combat the climate crisis.
According to a press release, his words emphasised the importance of justice and compassion as guiding principles for genuine transformation.
Haji Syed Salman Chishty said, "As we gather at COP28, we are reminded of the importance of justice and compassion as guiding principles for transformation. Let us unite and strive for genuine change that reflects the universal values embedded in our diverse cultures. Together, we celebrate unity in diversity, inspired by the teachings of Khwaja Garib Nawaz, the patron of the poor.”
