Jammu, Oct 31: J&K government Thursday issued an advisory regarding entry, parking of vehicles in and around the Civil Secretariat, during Assembly Session, 2024, beginning on November 4 in Srinagar.

As per a circular issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), the vehicles of Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, Ministers, Speaker (pro-tem) and Legislators will be parked in designated parking places of the Assembly Complex, Srinagar.

All vehicles of staff associated with print, electronic media and those of the Assembly staff will be parked in the designated space marked within the Secretariat premises.

All the escort vehicles will be parked in the parking space available in front of Kashmir Haat (Exhibition Complex). It has been ordered that during the session, no private vehicle of officers or officials and other employees will be allowed to enter Secretariat premises.

“In view of the upcoming Session of the Legislative Assembly of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and with a view to regulate the entry and parking of vehicles in and around the premises of Civil Secretariat, these guidelines are issued for strict adherence by all the concerned,” read the circular instructions issued by the General Administration Department (GAD).

All officers and officials working in the Civil Secretariat have been directed to extend full support and cooperation to the Senior Superintendent of Police (Security), Civil Secretariat and Senior Superintendent of Police (Traffic) in regulating the movement and parking of vehicles.

All Administrative Secretaries have been asked to notify these instructions to all employees working in their respective departments.
