From Warwan to Bangalore, Parvaiz Mahroo shines in Tamil cinema

Banihal, June 25: Parvaiz Ahmad Mahroo, hailing from the far-flung village of Inshan in Warwan Tehsil of district Kishtwar, has carved out a remarkable journey from the serene valleys of Jammu and Kashmir to the bustling streets of Bangalore and the glitzy world of Tamil cinema.

Born and raised in Inshan village of Warwan valley in Kishtwar district, Parvaiz completed his schooling in district Anantnag before pursuing a degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. His academic journey laid a solid foundation for his future endeavors.

Upon graduating, Parvaiz Ahmad Mahroo embarked on a career as a software developer in Bangalore, where he quickly established himself in the competitive IT industry. However, his ambitions extended beyond coding; he explored modeling alongside his software development career.

Parvaiz's attempt into the world of cinema began with a small but significant role in the Tamil award-winning movie "Labour," released in 2021. His dedication and passion for acting earned him recognition and paved the way for more substantial opportunities.

In 2023, Parvaiz secured a pivotal role as the second lead in the Tamil film "Rail," directed by Bhaskar Sakthi and produced by M. Vediyappan under the banner of Discovery Cinemas. "Rail," starring Kungumaraj Muthusamy, Parvaiz Mahroo, Vairamala, and Ramesh Vaidya, explores deep human emotions against the backdrop of bustling train stations. The film was released theatrically on June 21, 2024, and has garnered acclaim for Parvaiz's versatility and acting prowess.
