When I was eighteen, I got married to a man who was just a little older than me. But we loved each other deeply and enjoyed every moment together. Our happiness grew even more when we welcomed our son, Vihan, into the world. He became the center of our universe, filling our days with laughter and joy.

But one morning, everything changed in an instant. I woke up with plans for a beautiful day with my husband and son, filled with hopeful thoughts about our future. Suddenly, the air was pierced by the panicked screams of my mother and sisters-in-law. Alarmed, I rushed out to see what had happened, leaving Vihan peacefully sleeping in his crib. As I stepped out, my heart stopped when I saw my husband lying lifeless on the ground. It felt like the world had turned upside down. All our dreams, all our plans for the future, shattered into pieces before my eyes.

The grief that washed over me was overwhelming. I felt like I was drowning in sadness, unable to see a way forward. The pain was so deep that at times, I couldn't bear it. There were moments when I thought about ending my own life, wanting to escape the agony that consumed me. But just as I was about to give in to despair, I heard Vihan crying. His innocent cries pulled me back from the edge, reminding me of my duty as a mother.

I gathered every ounce of strength I had left and chose to keep going, for Vihan's sake. As the months passed and the crucial memories started to settle down, I came across the another end of the coin. My in-laws, who had once been kind and supportive, now turned their focus to inheritance and property disputes. They pushed me aside, wanting to take control of what my husband had left behind. I fought back, determined to secure Vihan's future and protect what rightfully belonged to us.

As time passed, the initial sympathy from my family and friends began to fade. The world around me moved on, but I remained stuck in a cycle of grief and struggle. My parents, worried about my well-being and Vihan's future, gently suggested that I consider remarrying. They spoke of the importance of a father's guidance and the support a woman needs in a society that can be harsh and unforgiving.

Reluctantly, I opened my heart to the possibility of a second marriage. It was a decision filled with hesitation and uncertainty, tinged with the fear of more heartbreak. Eventually, I met a man who seemed kind and understanding. He knew about my past and assured me that he was committed to building a future together. We married, and for a while, it felt like happiness had returned to my life. We welcomed a daughter, Saavi, into our family, and I dared to believe that the worst was behind us.

But life, it seemed, had more challenges in store for me. Over time, I began to notice signs that my second husband was not as faithful as he appeared. He spent nights away from home, claiming work obligations, but the truth slowly unraveled. I discovered that he had a girlfriend and was spending money from my first husband's investments on lavish hotels and trips with her. The betrayal cut deep, reopening wounds that had barely healed. In the end, I had no choice but to leave him, taking Saavi with me.
