Today, the 33-year-old engineer-turned-entrepreneur runs Walnut Infrastructure Technology in Dubai, a company that consults, designs and installs smart home systems in villas and residential buildings in the UAE.

Born and raised in Baramulla, he completed his B.Tech in Automobile Engineering at SRM University before moving to Dubai in 2015. “I grew up living through blackouts,” Aamir explains. “So, when I think of smart homes, I don’t only see convenience, I see reliability.
