Srinagar, July 9: One of India’s largest exhibitions on development and innovation, Bharat Sanrachana – Jammu & Kashmir 2025, will be held in Srinagar from July 10 to 12 at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC).

The event will bring together over 60 central ministries, scientific institutions, and public sector organizations to highlight India’s progress in key sectors such as defence, space, agriculture, digital transformation, infrastructure, and grassroots development. The exhibition will remain open to the public daily from 10 am to 6 pm, with free entry.

Addressing media ahead of the event, Member of Parliament Gulam Ali Khatana said Bharat Sanrachana is a platform to showcase the transformative impact of government schemes on the ground, especially in aspirational districts like those in Jammu and Kashmir.

“This exhibition reflects the Prime Minister’s vision of inclusive development and Viksit Bharat. It brings the government’s efforts closer to the people and inspires youth participation in nation-building,” he said.

Organised by Tarmeh Events, the exhibition is designed to engage students, young professionals, entrepreneurs, and local leaders. A dedicated youth zone will feature live demonstrations, career guidance sessions, and innovation showcases.

Major participants include ISRO, DRDO, CSIR, ICMR, ICAR, GSI, NHPC, THDC, APEDA, the Indian Jute Board, and various departments from the Ministries of Science, Textiles, and Agriculture.

The exhibition will also highlight local heritage through displays of Kashmiri handicrafts, tourism, and culture, alongside interactive installations on flagship central government schemes.

Tarmeh Events Director Tarun Jain said the exhibition aims to bridge the gap between India’s leading institutions and citizens. “This is not just an exhibition—it is a national connect that sparks curiosity and inspires future possibilities,” he said.
