Free medical camp to be held on World Pharmacy Day

Srinagar, Sep 24: The G R Beigh Memorial Foundation, in association with Jagat Pharma and Sehat Polytechnic Awantipora, is organising a free medical camp on World Pharmacy Day on September 25, 2025.

A statement of the G R Beigh Memorial Foundation issued here said that the camp was being held in honour of pharmacists who sacrificed their lives during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The camp aims to provide free medical check-ups, consultations, and medicines to the needy.

“We are proud to organise this free medical camp in honour of pharmacists who made the ultimate sacrifice in the fight against COVID-19,” Chairman of the G R Beigh Memorial Foundation, Ishtiyaq Beigh, said.  “We hope to provide much-needed medical services to those in need and promote the importance of pharmacists in our healthcare system.”

The camp would be held at the head office of the G R Beigh Memorial Foundation at Bilal Colony in Soura, Srinagar, from 10 am to 4 pm.

Free medical consultations, free medicines, and free diagnostic tests (blood pressure, blood sugar) would be provided in the camp.
