Four militants involved in Botapathri attack on army vehicle: SSP Baramulla
Baramulla Oct 26: The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Baramulla Muhammad Zaid Saturday said that around four militants were involved in the Thursday's ambush on army vehicle in Botapather area of Gulmarg.
Talking to reporters at District Police Line (DPL) Baramulla, the SSP said, the operation resumed on Saturday morning after it was halted last night.
The SSP Baramulla said that the Police, Army and Paramilitary forces are jointly conducting the operation at the spot.
From Baba Reshi to the forests of Gulmarg, entire area is being searched, said the SSP
He said the precautions have been placed in built-up areas as well.
"On basis of the evidence around three to four militants are involved in the attack," he said.
He said, many search operations were launched in north Kashmir's Pattan since last four days.
About the use of Rocket at Botapathri, the SSP said he has not seen any such picture.
"I think it is not true," he said.
