Four killed, three injured in Ramban road accident

Banihal, March 04: At least four persons died and three others were injured after a passenger vehicle met with an accident in the Maligam area of Pogal in Ukhrall tehsil of Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.

Reports said that a cab heading towards Tehsil headquarter Ukhrall from Maligam rolled down from the road near Chafkhani Maligam due to slippery conditions on the link road.

They said locals started a rescue operation soon after the accident and four bodies were recovered from the site of the accident. Three injured have been shifted to PHC Ukhrall, they said.

The deceased have been identified as Abdul Wahid Bali, Aanayatullah, Mohammad Ayoub Bali and driver Sajjad Ahmad -- all residents of Pogal.
