Four drug peddlers held with contraband in Kulgam: Police

Srinagar, Mar 24: Kulgam Police on Sunday held four drug peddlers and recovered 5 kg’s of Poppy Straw like contraband from their possession.

An FIR No. 34/24 U/S 8/15, 29 of NDPS Act has been registered while further investigations taken up.

“Kulgam police arrests 04 drug peddlers Madan Lal, Mohan Singh R’s/O Gurdaspur; Manzoor Ah Mir & Mohd Afzal R's/O Tengbal & recovered 05 Kgs of Poppy Straw like contraband. FIR no 34/24 U/S 8/15,29 NDPS act registered at PS Kulgam & investigation taken up,” Kulgam Police said.
