Four attached after death of PDL employee in Anantnag

Anantnag, June 21: The Assistant Executive Engineer of KPDCL Sub-Division Anantnag has attached four PDL staff members with immediate effect following the death of one PDL employeee.

Four staff members were attached after the death of PDL employee namely Imtiyaz Ahmad Lone, son of Nazir Ahmad Lone, a resident of Hillar Kokernag, Anantnag.

According to the official order issued by the Assistant Executive Engineer, the attached staff includes Farooq Ahmad Sheikh (LM-II), Gul Mohd Wani (PDL), Ab Majeed Teeli (PDL), and Zahoor Ahmad Parry (PDL).

Meanwhile, the incharge of the Bulbul Nowgam area has been directed to oversee the sector in addition to his own duties until further notice.

The authorities have called for an immediate inquiry into the incident to ascertain the circumstances that led to the tragic death. The matter has been taken seriously and further investigations are underway. (JKNS)
