Former MLC Mohammad Rafiq Khan, supporters join BJP in Jammu

Jammu, Feb 24: National Conference (NC) leader and former MLC Mohammad Rafiq Khan and his supporters joined BJP today.

According to a press release, J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina welcomed them in the party fold during a function here. Besides Raina, Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP (Lok Sabha) was also present at the function, in which Mohammad Ayub Pahalwan (Kotranka, Budhal) alongwith supporters too joined the BJP.

Ravinder Raina said that BJP has deep-rooted sentiment of democratic ethos and patriotic zeal. He said that the BJP cadre is always on the ground, on the forefront for helping needy persons and to achieve the mission to empower every person. The Modi government has taken effective steps to ensure that every development plan is all-inclusive to include every section, he added.

“Due to clear intentions to serve the society and motherland without any prejudice and reaching out to every section of society that was consistently harassed and maltreated for decades together earlier, prominent political and social personalities are daily joining the BJP . They are doing so with a faith that now they will be in a better position to serve their people and nation,” Raina said.

Jugal Kishore Sharma said that the Modi government has served the neglected and the oppressed and has done justice to crores of people belonging to multiple sects and sections of society. “These good works by the Modi government has won the hearts of people, who have decided to support the BJP massively in Parliamentary elections of 2024,” he added.
