Former FCIK President Zahoor Bhat bereaved

Industrial fraternity conveys condolences

Srinagar, July 29: The mother of former President Federation of Chambers of Industries Kashmir (FCIK) and Member Advisory Committee Er. Zahoor Ahmad Bhat, breathed her last in the wee hours of Monday. She was ailing for some time and passed away peacefully at her Pattan residence.

A large number of people offered funeral prayers for the deceased at Eidgah Pattan which included a significant number of entrepreneurs from across Kashmir valley. President FCIK Shahid Kamili ; Advisory Committee Members M.D Qureshi, Syed Shakeel Qalander, Mohammad Ashraf Mir ; Estate Presidents Syed Fazal Illahi, Syed Afaq Qadiri, Haji Mohammad Ashraf, Javid Ahmad Bhat, Showkat Ahmad and representatives from various industrial estates and districts including Mukhtar Yousuf, KumarJi Wanchoo, Ghulam Mohammad Tramboo, Ghulam Mohiud Din, Nazir Ahmad Shikari, Dr. Zainul Abideen, Nasir Bukhari, Ishfaq Majeed, Ghulam Jeelani, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Khalid Zehgeer, Manzoor Ahmad, Peer Ajaz Ahmad besides a large number of entrepreneurs participated in the last rites of the departed soul.

FCIK and other industrial-related associations from across the valley have expressed grief and sorrow over the demise and have offered heartfelt condolences to Er. Zahoor Ahmad Bhat, other members of the bereaved family. While praying for the eternal peace of the deceased, the fraternity has assured the family of sharing their grief and deprivation.

FCIK delegation led by President Shahid Kamili also visited the residence of Ghulam Jeelani Kanna, the Vice President of Industrial Estate Association Sopore and participated in Nimazi Jinazah of his father who also passed away on Monday. A condolence meeting under the chairmanship of President IEA Sopore Javid Ahmad Bhat was conducted to pay homage to the departed souls and express condolences.

A large number of business leaders and entrepreneurs visited Bhat’s and Kanna’s on Monday to offer condolences.
