Forest fire continues at Loren block in Poonch

Poonch, Jan 18: The forest fire in a vast area at Loran block of Poonch district continues for last several days.

The fire is spreading to other adjacent areas also due to severe dryness in forest and lack of rainfall

The forest fire, which can be noticed from far off places, is causing damage at Chakri, Cheeran and other upper ridges of Loran.

Locals said that several acres of forest area is under fire which is spreading in adjacent.

Locals said that attempts are being made to control the fire but the fire is yet to get under control.
