Footbridge damaged in Poonch village after windstorm

Poonch, Apr 19: An iron steel bridge in Chaktroo village of Poonchs’ Mandi tehsil was damaged after gusty winds struck the area on Friday evening.

The foot bridge was being used by locals to move over the main river in Chaktroo village of Mandi and it was connecting the village with the main road.

On Friday, locals said gusty winds hit the area and the footbridge suffered damage in the windstorm.

They said that the iron bridge turned upside down due to winds.
