During his address, Bhagwat emphasised the "need to overcome the ongoing Hindu-Muslim controversy." "We must think beyond the contentious issues of temples and mosques and focus on constructive engagement for national progress," Bhagwat said. He stressed the importance of unity and cautioned against divisive forces that threaten to disrupt social harmony.

Bhagwat called for unity between Hindus, Muslims and Christians to help India become a "Vishwa Guru" (World Leader).

"There were communities that migrated here from other places. We once fought with them, but they are no longer present. Now, only the insiders remain. Therefore, we must move forward and let go of our connections to outsiders. Everyone here is part of our community. If there are differences in our thinking, we should engage with one another. The unity of India is of utmost importance, and everyone should strive to contribute to it," he said.

On the occasion, Bhagwat was felicitated by two Jammu and Kashmir-based activists, Sajid Yousuf Shah from Srinagar and Samreen Khan from Rajouri.

Bhagwat praised the efforts of Sajid Yousuf Shah and Samreen Khan for the nation. Sajid Yousuf invited the RSS Chief to visit the Kashmir region, and Bhagwat assured him that he would indeed visit Kashmir.
