The major highlight of the trade-connect event was an interactive session between the women entrepreneurs and representatives from various nations, including Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Chile, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Japan, Kenya, Peru, Sri Lanka, the UK, Egypt, and Tunisia.

Joyshree Das Verma, the National President of FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), said, “FLO, an organisation with over 12,000 members across 20 chapters with headquarters in Delhi, has created an enduring impact on the lives of countless women across India, from seasoned entrepreneurs to those taking their first steps into business. FLO has been a constant force, lifting barriers, promoting independence, and expanding opportunities for women from all walks of life.”

Elaborating on FLO’s initiatives, Das Verma added, “At the grassroots level, we support women with skill development and hands-on resources, providing a pathway to economic independence and growth. And at the highest levels of leadership, we equip women to serve as directors, decision-makers, and change-makers, empowering them to lead in the boardrooms and beyond.”

One of FLO’s impactful initiatives, the Start-Up Cell, is a dynamic platform designed to empower aspiring women entrepreneurs to bring their ideas to life. This initiative offers hands-on support through business training, mentorship, and funding guidance, creating a solid foundation for women-led start-ups to thrive in today’s competitive landscape.

“Through partnerships, trade delegations, and cross-border collaborations, FLO has expanded its reach, bringing the world closer to Indian women and Indian women closer to the world. Our objective is to work towards shaping a future where women are empowered to lead across all sectors and borders, and where FLO’s legacy of impact will continue to inspire, uplift, and connect women worldwide,” concluded Das Verma, emphasising the critical role of support in this endeavour.
